Roeselare 23 April 2021 - House of HR, the leading European HR services group, agreed to acquire German avanti GmbH. Avanti is specialized in a wide array of healthcare staffing solutions all over Germany. The acquisition emphasizes House of HR’s belief in the German market’s growth potential and at the same time marks its entrance in the specialized healthcare staffing domain.

avanti, founded in 2000 in Hamburg by Frank Hartung and joined shortly hereafter by Florian Hermes, offers specialized talent solutions, recruiting and secondment in the field of healthcare (such as nurses, intensive care staff, other hospital support personnel etc.). avanti has 14 offices throughout Germany, with an internal staff of 220 people, and about 1700 people at work at more than 1000 customers. In 2020, the company realized a turnover of over 70 million euros. The acquisition is still subject to customary regulatory approval.

House of HR is taking over the majority of the shares, with the management keeping a minority stake. Matthias Hiepko, active within avanti since more than 14 years and previously heading the ‘Geschäftsbereich Medical’, will assume the overall CEO-role at avanti. He will report to Roger Lothmann, TIMEPARTNER's CEO, overseeing all German activities of House of HR. Florian Hermes will support the transition during the next six months. Frank Hartung has announced his departure from avanti.

The acquisition perfectly accentuates House of HR’s growth ambitions. Rika Coppens, CEO at House of HR: ‘we genuinely believe in a strong German market. Also, we are keen believers in the growth potential of the healthcare industry. Needless to say, we are happy to welcome avanti to our group of happy rebels. We feel sure there will be a perfect cultural fit between our German companies TIMEPARTNER, ZAQUENSIS and their new sister avanti. We will continue to grow both organically in our European operating companies and by acquisitions, always keeping a focus on Specialised Talent Solutions and Engineering&Consulting.’

Earlier this year, House of HR announced its plan to merge its two German companies TIMEPARTNER and ZAQUENSIS into one new group. Coppens: ‘In our newly established German structure ‘House of HR Germany’, avanti will become a sister company of TIMEPARTNER.’
