Hamburg, 09.10.2018. Change at the helm of staffing expert TimePartner. Thomas Schenk (51) will be taking over as new CEO on 19.09.2018. TimePartner Group, headquartered in Hamburg, has 11.000 employees serving the staffing needs of clients across Germany and a revenue of 350 million euro in 2017. Schenk has previously worked as CEO Germany and the Nordics of Kelly Services. He takes over from Sven Kilian who has been CEO since 2009.
"With Thomas Schenk we have found a very trustworthy manger with extensive experience in the staffing industry", says Rika Coppens, CEO of House of HR, the parent company of TimePartner. “We wish him the best of luck and will provide him with all possible help to make TimePartner an even bigger success in the future."
Schenk is looking forward to the challenges ahead: “TimePartner is highly efficient, present in all regions and sectors and has been growing faster than the market over the past years as we offer more than just temporary employment solutions. We want to grow our expertise in engineering and the aerospace industry as well as services such as onsite and inhouse management and supplement it with new areas of expertise in the coming years.”
Schenk also sees challenges for the staffing sector ahead, especially a tight market for qualified staff as well as regulatory requirements. “We will be investing in new technologies and digital solutions to improve recruitment of suitable personnel. That also includes expanding our recruitment strategies to other countries so we can continue being the best partner for our client’s recruitment and flexible staffing needs”, says Schenk.
After serving TimePartner as CEO for ten years, previous CEO Sven Kilian wants to spend more time with his family and explore new business opportunities. "Sven Kilian succeeded in making TimePartner exceptionally successful during the past years. He paved a tremendous growth path for the company. We are very grateful for that and he will surely be missed by all of us", says Coppens.
TimePartner joined House of HR group in 2016 and currently has about 100 offices in Germany. It has a revenue of over €350 million. They offer flexible staffing solutions to companies across Germany and have dedicated brands offering specific skilled professionals for the aerospace industry.
