Rika Coppens, CEO of the European HR services group House of HR worldwide, is among the 50 most important women in the world of human resources. This has just been announced by SIA, "Staffing Industry International". She is the only Belgian in the list. House of HR is also the only Belgian company mentioned in it.
Each year in November, Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA), a global knowledge collector in the HR sector, publishes the "Global Power 150 - Women in Staffing". Wednesday 18 November, SIA announced the list for 2020. The sixth edition contains the 150 most important women in the world of human resources: the 100 most important in America, and the 50 most important worldwide. It is in that worldwide top 50 that Rika Coppens is the only Belgian woman mentioned this year. It is all about women who put a mark on the HR world in their own way.
Subadhra Sriram, who publishes the list, states: "It concerns women of diverse backgrounds, but each and every one of them makes the difference in a sector that is in full movement. At a time when a pandemic has a disproportionately large impact on women and minorities, they are making tremendous efforts to mitigate the dramatic negative impact Covid-19 has in the workplace. The ladies in this list are building new companies, products and technologies and create a future where men and women professionally feel at home. "The list includes CEOs, entrepreneurs, lawyers, technology experts etc."
Rika Coppens is honored with this spectacular mention, but remains sober and modest. "This list is the result of a mathematical calculation, but if this can influence that I can help to make the important topics in the field of HR discussable, then gladly. There is still a lot of work to be done to get and keep all people working: a responsibility that,by the way, lies with all social partners."
