Every year in autumn, Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA), a global provider of knowledge about the HR-industry, is publishing its ‘Largest Global Staffing Firms’ list. In its today released version of 2020, based on turnover in 2019, House of HR is ranked at the 24th place, with a consolidated turnover of 2,024 billion USD. In last year’s edition, House of HR was on the 25th place. Of all non-stock listed staffing firms, House of HR is the 7th largest firm in the world.

House of HR consists of 9 companies and 38 brands, giving work to over 47.000 people in Europe, through its network of 590 offices. It is the largest Belgian staffing firm. Second largest staffing firm in Begium is Actief Interim, on the 78th place (667 million USD). The largest staffing firm in the world is Dutch Randstad (24 billion USD), followed by Swiss Adecco Group (23 billion USD).

CEO of House of HR Rika Coppens, considers the high ranking a proof of the group’s continued efforts in delivering top quality services. ‘Everybody at House of HR – our Happy Rebels – has work tremendously hard to continue to grow over the last years but also in a sustainable way with a profitability profile that is amongst the highest in the market. For sure, it is an honor to belong to the largest staffing firms in the world, particularly for us ‘small Belgians’. But size is not the most important that matters. Much more so is our continuous focus on optimal service, both to all our candidates and the companies that count on us.’

Analysts say House of HR’s ranking is due to a unique combination of internal entrepreneurship and a strong focus on innovation. Coppens comments: ‘this is the only way to keep growing. And the best way to guaruantee the increasing amount of people and companies calling upon our services. Who knows where our growth will bring us…’

A few weeks ago, SIA ranked Rika Coppens amongst the 50 most powerful HR-women in the world.
