Roeselare, 24 June 2020She succeeds Rika Coppens, who joined in 2017 as the CEO of both Accent and the international HR service provider House of HR. Coppens, who combined both roles in the past 3 years, now wants to concentrate on the further development of House of HR. Lagae will take over the helm at Accent from 1 October 2020.

The decision to seek a new CEO for Accent Jobs had already been taken in 2019. “Both Accent (turnover €550 million) and House of HR (turnover €1.8 billion) have a right to a full time CEO,” says Rika Coppens. “So the choice to be at the head only of House of HR was quite clear”. The focus at House of HR will be on growing and expanding the group further, pursuing specialisations even more, and continuing to innovate. “We want to concentrate even more on our digital HR solutions and to launch them internationally. The SWOP, NowJobs and GigHouse applications are only a small sample of the range of digital solutions”.

Anouk Lagae will take over officially as CEO of Accent on 1 October 2020. Lagae started her career with Unilever and has also occupied international sales & marketing roles at Coca-Cola and Duvel Moortgat. Both Coppens and Lagae hold a degree in commercial engineering. Lagae is to become better acquainted with Accent and the temporary employment sector starting from 1 July.

"If I now have the chance to do this on a larger scale for every potential candidate and every company in Belgium, it’s a marvellous lever to help create a more meaningful society”. Thanks to Lagae’s experience in both consumer management and general management, she understands the needs of all types of company and can therefore help Accent to find perfect matches even more frequently.
